With SMOU, you can receive a mobile notification in case the tow truck has moved or relocated your car or a motorcycle. This is a complimentary service aimed at enhancing communication, expediting and facilitating the Barcelona Municipal Towing service.
With this alert on your phone you'll be quickly informed if a towing service is made to your vehicle on a public road.

Activate the Tow truck notification
To receive towing notifications:
- Register your vehicle in the app. You can do this in the side menu, under the section 'My vehicles'.
- In this same section, click on 'View details' of the vehicle.
- Activate the alert under 'Tow truck notifications' and click ‘Save'.

If you are one of those who move around on your own with sharings or public transport:
- With SMOU, you can reserve and take the 'Bicing', as well as know its availability forecast.
- Locate on the app's map the operators of car, motorcycle, and bike sharing in the city of Barcelona.
- Check the timetables and localte stops and stations of public transport: Metro, Bus TMB, TRAM, Metropolitan Network Bus, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, and Rodalies de Catalunya.
- Order and pay for your taxi with the app to move in the most comfortable and sustainable way.
If you prefer to move with your own vehicle:
- With the app, you can pay for the parking meter in the Green and Blue zones of Barcelona and 10 more municipalities in the Metropolitan Area.
- Pay for parking tickets for AREA residents in the city of Barcelona with 'Barcelona Residents'.
- Access the car parks of the city without taking a ticket or going to the ticket machine, with 'Parking via app'.
- Locate the underground car parks in the city and know real-time information about their available parking spaces.
If you have an electric car or motorcycle:
- You can connect them to 'Endolla Barcelona', the public network of charging points for electric vehicles.
And no matter how you move, with SMOU you will always be able to:
- Create customizable routes with 'How to get there' using public transport, bicycle, and car to go from one place to another in Barcelona and the Metropolitan Area.
- Consult the city's cycle lanes and pedestrian areas in the city, as well as trace the most suitable route for pedalling or using a scooter.
