What's new in the SMOU app
Now, accessing the app is faster
We've improved the startup performance: when you open the app, you'll find a new image that will quickly take you to the main screen.
You will no longer forget to finish the 'Parking Meter' ticket
When you park in the Blue and Green zones, you can set an alert to remind you to finish the ticket. For example, if when parking your vehicle you anticipate returning for it in an hour, with SMOU you can create an alert for that time, and it will appear on your phone as a push notification.
How to create a reminder
- In SMOU, go to "Parking Meter" in the bottom menu, click "Start Ticket" and select the parking zone (Blue or Green).
- Check the option "Remind me that I have an ongoing ticket to finish parking" and select the reminder time.
- You'll receive the alert as a push notification on your phone (you must have them enabled in your smartphone settings beforehand).
Scan in the blink of an eye
In this new version, we've also improved the reading of QR codes by combining speed and accuracy. You'll scan QR codes more quickly when renting a bike from 'Bicing', recharging your vehicle with 'Endolla', and digitising parking tickets and vouchers to pay with the 'Parking via app' service.
Even if the QR code is small or damaged, the app will regenerate it and you will be able to scan it from any angle.
