SMOU is expanding its operations by adding the Cienfuegos parking, situated at c/ de Cienfuegos, 13, at the entrance to Barcelona via Meridiana. As a result, app's users can now pay for their parking stays by the minute using their phones at this location.
Cienfuegos parking at SMOU
This car park is located besides Felip II market, at the Sant Andreu - La Sagrera area.
You can park your car there and travel around the city by public transport using the metro (L1 and L5), various bus lines and Renfe.
Cienfuegos parking offers 50 spaces for various types of vehicles and it's accessible Monday to Sunday from 6.30 AM to 00 PM. In addition to parking spaces, it also provides:
- Video surveillance with cameras and staff.
- Lift.
- Restrooms for its clients.
- Car self-service: vacuum cleaners and air.
With this addition, the Cienfuegos parking joins the other car parks where payment can be made through the 'Parking via app' service, which enables users to pay for their parking stays by the minute via SMOU, without having to take paper ticket or go to the ticket machine, as access is granted through license plate reading.

This integration further advances SMOU's efforts in transforming the mobility landscape of the city and the Metropolitan Area. Currently, over 180,000 individuals utilize the app to pay for their parking stays by the minute through the 'Parking via app' service.
