In just four months, smou, the app that brings together all of Barcelona’s mobility services, has notched up 102,303 registered users, a considerable number of people who between them have used the service for 800,000 parking operations. Smou has undoubtedly become the favourite app for users, over 95% of whom pay for parking via their mobile phones.
Smou is an all-in-one app for the city’s mobility services that enables people to use the apparkB service to pay for blue and green on-street parking spaces without having to use the parking meters and paying only for the exact parking time, saving time and streamlining the process.
Smou can also be used to pay for parking in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat,Sant Coloma de Gramenet, Sant Joan Despí and Sant Just Desvern, representing added value for users, who can get around in all these municipalities and use a single app to pay for parking there. Users can also find information on the B:SM parking network, the Bicing service, the Endolla Barcelona recharging network and the Drivy and Ubeeqo car-sharing services.
Smou is a constantly growing, dynamic application, which will continue to evolve and incorporate new services such as seamlessly paying for B:SM car parks.
