The Endolla Barcelona network has introduced its first 160 kW charging points, located on Carrer de Roger de Llúria, 124 and Moragas, 17 and can now be accessed via the ‘Charge’ service in the SMOU app.
With triple the power of the on-street charging points currently available, this new infrastructure represents a step forward in the evolution of Barcelona’s public charging network and strengthens Endolla Barcelona’s commitment to increasingly sustainable, efficient mobility adapted to the needs of electric vehicle users.
More power, less charging time
The new facilities offer greater charging capacity than conventional fast charging points, which significantly reduces the charging time needed to restore range.
This technology was developed in response to the evolution of electric vehicles, which are increasingly well equipped to handle high power outputs and therefore benefit from reduced charging times
From plans to reality
The introduction of these two charging points is the next step in the plans announced by Endolla Barcelona a few months ago, when the project to incorporate a new generation of 160 kW charging points into the city’s public network was presented.
With the introduction of the facilities on Roger de Llúria and Moragas, this technology-forward approach is offering new options for electric vehicle drivers in Barcelona.
An ever-growing network
These initial two points will be followed by the installation of 8 additional 160 kW charging points at various locations throughout the city.
This expansion will improve the coverage of the Endolla Barcelona network and help to develop a public charging system capable of accommodating the growth of electric mobility in Barcelona.
The future of mobility with SMOU
We are working fervently to promote a more connected, combinated, shared and sustainable mobility, for constructing a healthy and cutting-edge Barcelona.
The app will continue to grow with the aim of enhancing and facilitating your mobility in the Metropolitan Area.
