Yes, you can set the services at the bottom menu of the smou main screen so that it is always at hand and set your favourite as default when you open the smou.
- Click the 'More' button at the bottom menu of the main screen.
- Click 'Customize' just above the menu.
- A screen will open with all the available services: drag them according to your preferences and decide the order in which you want them to be displayed in your bottom menu.
- Click on the star of your preferred service and it will always appear when you open the app.
Personal account: for private users with one or more vehicles in their household.
Business account: this is an account made for businesses that have multiple vehicles or need to manage the mobility of their employees. It allows fthe payment of parking for a fleet of vehicles (using the Parking meter and Parking via app services), recharging electric vehicles (via the Endolla Barcelona service), or requesting and taking taxis (via the Taxi service). To do so, prior authorization from a company administrator is required, and is who will register all associated users and vehicles.
You can register through the app once you have downloaded it, or through the website www.smou.cat. You will have to fill in the online form with your personal information and you will receive an email to verify your email address.
If you wish to register a business account, you can only do so from the User area on the SMOU website by selecting "Business" as the account type and completing the form with your organization's details.
A business account is an account with multiple users managed by an administrator. Users will be able to use the smou services, provided the administrator has given them the required permission. All the parking tickets will be charged to the bank card registered on the administrator’s account.
You cannot use any of the services without a user account, so it is essential that you are registered to be able to use the services. However, you can see the information on the map and use the system to check parking space availability without being registered.
You can access with the same user and password to the smou app and AMB Aparcament app both with no need to make a new registration.
When you log in to one of both applications, the other will be closed automatically.

You can change or add up to 3 cards within the app itself, under My Profile > Payment. You can also make changes in your user area on the SMOU website.
From this section, you can also set one as default, which will be used for payments for tickets across all the services you use.
Yes, you can do that depending on the service you are using at the time:
- If it’s a ticket for the 'Parking meter', 'Barcelona Residents' or 'Taxi' services, you can change the card before starting the ticket. This change will only apply to that specific ticket and will not alter the default card set in your profile.
- If it’s a ticket for the 'Bicing' service, the weekly charges for your electric bike trips will be made to the card marked as default at the time of billing.
- If it’s a ticket for the 'Endolla' service, you’ll need to go to My Profile > Payment and change the default card before starting the recharge.
- If it’s a ticket for the 'Parking via app' service, you can change the card once you have started the ticket, on the Parking in progress screen.
1. When you register your bank card, an amount of €0.02 will be retained in your bank account to check the status of your card. The money retained will later be returned to you by your bank (this may take a few days).
2. Parking meter service: at the beginning of a parking period, the amount corresponding to the maximum length of stay will be retained (depending on the maximum length of stay and the rate with the environmental label modifier). The money retained will later be returned to you by your bank. Once the parking period is over, you will be charged for the exact amount of time parked. In the case of Zero-Emission vehicles, the amount corresponding to the maximum length of stay and the base rate will be retained, but it will later be returned to you by your bank.
3. Parking via app service: when you enter a car park, an amount of €0.03 will be retained in your bank account. The money retained will later be returned to you by your bank. At the end of your stay in the car park, you will be charged for the exact amount of time parked.
4. Endolla Barcelona service: when you start the recharge, an amount of €10 will be retained in your bank account. Once you have finished recharging your vehicle, you will be charged for the corresponding amount, depending on your payment option.
5. Bicing service: subsequent to the completion of journeys that incur an extra cost, you will be charged these amounts together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
6. Taxi service: when you make a reservation with the ‘Taxi’ service, a pre-authorised bank payment is made for the maximum price of the journey. Once completed, payment for the corresponding amount is made.
You can do this from the app by going to user settings and selecting “Deactivate my account”. You can also do so in your user area on smou’s website. If it is a fleet account, this must be done by the general administrator of the account.
