The registration process for new Bicing users is improving: from now on, this process will be carried out exclusively via the SMOU app, in a more convenient and secure way.
With this new registration process, users will only need to scan their DNI or NIE to automatically fill in their name, date of birth, and identity number. The system will verify the details, ensuring the information is accurate and reliable.
This change not only enhances the user experience but also guarantees data accuracy and ensures that new users are of legal age. Additionally, it will help prevent potential errors, ensuring both service security and insurance coverage.
This update does not affect existing service users, nor does it change the registration process for underage users (aged 16 and 17), who must continue managing their registration via the User Zone on the SMOU website.
With this improvement, Bicing continues to work towards offering a safer, more efficient, and user-friendly service.
