Tow truck notifications on SMOU

With SMOU, you can receive a mobile notification in case the tow truck has moved or relocated your vehicle, whether it's a car or a motorcycle. This is a complimentary service aimed at enhancing communication, expediting and facilitating the Barcelona Municipal Towing service.

With SMOU you can:

• Know the whereabouts of your vehicle (whether it's in the impound lot or on the street).
• Find out the service fee.
• Make the online payment.

Advantages of the online payment

   You'll go directly to retrieve the vehicle without needing to go through the customer service point.

 You'll have more time to go to the deposit: you'll have 4 additional and free hours of stay at the deposit when making the online payment. Free hours of parking included are as follows:

        - With online payment: 8 h
        - No online payment: 4 h

Activate the Tow truck notification

To receive towing notifications:

• Register your vehicle in the app. You can do this in the side menu, under the section 'My vehicles'. 
• In this same section, click on 'View details' of the vehicle.
• Activate the alert under 'Tow truck notifications' and click ‘Save'.
